Tomasz Neumann received his master’s degree in Physics (atomic spectroscopy) at Univesity of Gdańsk in 2007 and ten years later Ph.D. in Earth Science (oceanology) at Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Science where he simulated light propagation in turbid medium using the Monte Carlo method.
In 2007-2018 he had worked as a lecture of physics at Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics at the GUT. From November 2018 untill now he has been working in the field of biomedical engineering in the Biomedical Engineering Department, Faculty of Electronics , Telecommunication and Informatics at the GUT.
Areas of interest: biomedical signal and image processing, computer simulations, machine learning algorithms. In his free time he plays football or swimming (also in winter)
