Marcin Gruszecki

Marcin Gruszecki

Received M.Sc. (2005) and PhD (2009) in Theoretical Physics at Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin. From 2009 to 2011 a post-doctoral fellow at University of Warwick (UK). The post-doctoral fellowship was founded by Royal Society of London. From 2013 he has been working at Medical University of Gdansk and from 2019 at Gdansk University of Technology. Dr Gruszecki received his D.Sc. degree (habilitation) in Health Sciences from Medical University of Gdansk in 2018. He was involved in many projects in astrophysics, molecular simulations and analysis of biomedical data. At that moment the main research activity of Dr Gruszecki is focused on neuroscience. He published about 30 referred publications and was a coordinator or an investigator in about 6 research grants. Dr Gruszecki has spent some time as a visiting researcher in many places in the world, among others in Germany (Max Plank Institute), UK (University of Warwick, Lancaster University, St Andrews University), France (CEA Saclay), USA (Stanford University), Canada (University of Regina) and Macedonia (St Cyril and Methodius University). He likes playing the guitar, sailing and hiking.
