On April 21, a department seminar was held. The presentation was given by dr inż. Grzegorz Jasiński. During the presentation, the state of research on the influence of temperature on the operation of gas sensors was presented. The temperature dependence of gas sensors’ responses is one of the factors limiting their wider use. Two solutions to this problem have been proposed. The first one, concerning semiconductor gas sensors, is based on the use of the heater properties of these sensors to stabilize the operating temperature of the sensors. Another solution using an artificial neural network has been proposed for amperometric gas sensors. The presented results are one of the stages of the research related to the initiation of the habilitation procedure.
